Positive Applications is the result of Yen’s passion in seeing character growth and transformation. Yen graduated from the University Of Melbourne, Australia, where she pursued Psychology, Criminology and Anthropology. Her interest in lifelong learning also led to a Master of Educational Psychology from University of Malaya and a practitioner’s certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Yen’s involvement in the field of learning and development spans across young children to adult learners. She believes that when the whole child is nourished, it grows into a whole adult. A firm believer in early intervention, Yen is sought after for her advice in handling the challenges that today’s educators, social-service providers and care-givers face.

Yen distributes her time equally to working with children and with adults in the corporate world, as she believes training is one of the keys to transforming organizations and societies. Her insight into the dynamics and challenges of organizational development comes from 15 years of experience in the education, media, finance and F&B industries. Her natural perceptive skills combined with her academic training make her an effective learning specialist. She is currently based in Kuala Lumpur and conducts training in Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Singapore.
